It was a mistake. Mosaic sent me a cd with the missing version by Prima.

Good show. My first time seeing him live. Lloyd was very lyrical at times. My wife loved it as well. As expected, he played tenor and flute, but he also played a reddish/brownish straight saxophone (a stritch, perhaps?) at the beginning of his first encore. It looked somewhat like a rosewood clarinet, but it sounded like a saxophone. I just looked online. It was a tárogató.

Went last night to see Charles Lloyd (with Jason Moran, Eric Harland, and Reuben Rogers) in Boston.

Chuck, There was an exhibit of artwork by Pee Wee Russell and George Wettling (who had studied with Stuart Davis) at Wilkes College in 1986.
