It's mostly about lifestyle.
Diets for the most part don't work long term.
What are the first 3 letters of the word diet?
BTW, I'm 5' 11", 63 years old, weigh 153 pounds, exercise almost every day.
I have HatArt 6005: News For Lulu (Zorn, George Lewis, Frisell) that I believe fits in here. Or was that more 50's?? At any rate I like it.
There was also a 2nd volume, More News For Lulu that I don't have.
Add to the list A Genuine Tong Funeral.
Might be the most adventurous music of Burton's career.
Of course Carla Bley was not an inconsequential part of the album.
If you find the 1999 CD issue, you also get 5 cuts from Lofty Fake Anagram.
It's not (to me) an obviously drummer led date, i.e. not a lot of drum solos.
Hybrid SACD at Red Trumpet for $29.99.
It says special order, 3-10 days.
They're usually pretty good at getting what they say they can get.
Otherwise buy the new regular issue on 441 for less.
I have the Japanese hybrid CD. Was around $24 when I bought it.
Sounds fine to me.
I don't have a SACD player, so I'm not getting the SACD layer.
BTW, the music is very fine. One slightly hesitant Curtis Fuller solo, but otherwise he sounds fine & everyone else is in excellent form.
This type of thing has happened several times in the past at The Voice.
I only look at it online these days - movie reviews (they hate almost everything), music reviews (Christgau, jazz topics) & book reviews.
Yes- thanks.
I bought the Ocium today.
The Japanese reissues (? due Aug. 9) I've seen listed at $26.99 (U.S.) & up.
In addition the 2 combined on the Ocium are being issued separately.
I think I just saved $40.
