Undercurrent I remember as most excellent, Peckin' Time I have no strong memory of at all. It's never the same again after any moment in time, each and every one!
In this context, R = right
He's right-handed, or correct?

presumably, but not all right handers hit right, although they almost always throw right, some go both ways - 'switch hitters'. No puns inteneded, really.
If he's trying to 'pass' as human, I think he's failing...but he's a nice pianist and the one time I saw the 'American Quartet' they were v. good, esp'ly Dewey. Plays his ass off at the Cellar Door, presumably 'cause Miles kicked it first!
I've probably told this story before, but here goes - when I happended to be in Saskatoon visiting family, they had a Joni exhibit at the local art gallery/museum but nobosy i know who lived there would go "Oh it's only Joni, she can't really paint"!
I like that Cobblestone one. There's some very nice unaccompanied solo stuff somewhere in there, if I remember it right.

I haven't heard it in a long time, so I might change my mind, but IIRC 'trying too hard' to do something different was my initial reaction...
What he said, plus why would you take a hard sell and make it harder by tying it to something else that was WTF for most? And fuck Ardorno/Oderono, to mash up Clem & Petey T.
"Without a warning, you broke my heart" coulda been worse than Van horning in, coulda been Pig Pen! I only saw BBB once, after his voice had started to go, one of the great losses is that there's (apparently?) no live BBB from the '60s...
