  1. I think yourmusic.com has the Steamin' MFSL SACD.
  2. Damn. I knew that was going to happen.
  3. Wasn't "This is Our Music" reissued a couple of years back? A little soon (to be OOP), don't you think? ← If it is OOP, someone needs to go to jail.
  4. I think the Jetta is a deep groove mono version as well.
  5. I didn't win the $340 mil.
  6. Yeah, all we get is those Earl Klugh remasters. I am starting to lose faith. How many times do I wait to buy RVGs or Conns until they show up in the club? Not any longer...
  7. ö Alt + 0246
  8. Sometimes when I read the new releases at jazzmatazz I secretly wonder what Alan is wearing as he types. Is that wrong? ← That all depends...
  9. I did not win the 300 mil.
  10. It was a metal clarinet, like this: I was in the front row. My ears still feel a little funny. Here are a couple of pics from my camera phone: Flickr photo set.
  11. A truly enourmous outpouring of soul. A full review will follow this weekend.
  12. The Meters are impossibly funky. It is that same New Orleans thing that Idris Muhammad and them cats have.
  13. I am ready for this. Or am I? Here is a VIDEO CLIP from the Ecstatic Peace website
  14. Now at $290 mil. *Leaves to buy more lotto tickets.*
  15. Thanks for the reminder. *Leaves to buy lotto ticket.*
  16. Since we are not getting all of the material, what we do get had better be f'ing pristine.
  17. Oh, that looks even better. All tube. I might place an order this week!
  18. Ask your friend if he/she would sell said amp for 150.00! Otherwise, a solid state practice amp may be in your future. There are some good ones, for sure. This Looks Like A Good Option Have fun! g ← He bought that amp from a co-worker for $50. I just need to find one for that price... Until then, That Vox looks like the real deal!
  19. I just picked up a cheap Washburn strat knock-off as my first electric. I have had a REAL cheap acoustic for years. I have been teaching myself some things over the years, and now with a respectable guitar, I will be getting formal lessons. My question is this -- what would be a good newbie amp? I am looking for something small-ish. My view has been colored by an amp that a friend loaned me, a Fender Champ 25 from the mid-70s. Nice warm tubes, full sound. I am lazy and haven't read through all of the pages here, so there may be a rec that someone can point me to within this thread. Used would be fine, especially since my budget is a max of $150 or so. Anything worth having in that price range?

When it is all said and done, that is what really matters. I know the feeling.

  22. Me too! I should have put in at that cduniverse pre-order price, and eliminated the wait.
