    We Built This City definitely sucks! Especially to those of us who remember the Airplane in its glory days. I'm suprised about The End by The Doors being included - I've always liked this one.

    Another nice Pinot is Fleur De Carneros. About $11.99 - very nice! I also like one from Argentina of all places called Alamos. Also around $12.

    Finally found a copy of this baby! I really like it. A lot like Cecil Taylor with a little Randy Weston thrown in.

    I listened to Disc 1 last night for the first time and really enjoyed it. The sound quality was suprisingly good and I didn't really notice that much playing "out-of-tune".

    I picked up CONQUISTADOR and PASSING SHIPS. $20.38 w/ shipping. Not bad!

    It's a little small and crowded, but the service isn't that bad. Lot's of 20-something waiters working on their acting chops. The food is excellent though. Not fancy, more rustic/peasant style. Their pastas and fish dishes are great!

    Another real good Italian that's pretty reasonable is Il Bagado (sp?) in the East Village. Check the Zagat's guide on this one as well. I've eaten there several times - very authentic, freshly prepared dishes.

    Mine arrived yesterday. I haven't listened to it yet, but I was suprised that it was only number 3,65x/5000.

    I put on The Modern Dance last night for the first time in about 15 years. Damm, it hold's up well! I forgot how much these guys rock. Great album start-to-finish.

    Camper Van Beethoven were a smoking outfit! Some of their members then became part of the band Cracker, who were also pretty cool.
