  1. I was sucessful in repressing this memory until you brought it up . Seriously, the only part I remember is something like "TM in the AM". As I recall there wasn't much substance to the lyrics unless you were a devotee of the movement. I pretty much avoided that one but listened to the work that he did on that album with Gabor Szabo minus any Beach Boys.
  2. Snowed here yesterday. Close to two feet at Wolf Creek. The cloud cover is keeping it fairly warm. Currently 39 degrees.
  3. Happy Birthday Sandy!!!!
  4. My feelings, exactly. That would be my plan as well. But I'm pretty sure that stricter critieria thing would fall by the wayside pretty quickly... Jazzmoose,Jazzmoose.
  5. An 85 dollar T shirt I would love to know how Horace reached that decision-Yikes!!!!
  6. If I had to sell my collection I would sell it and go on. I'd probably start to build it back up but I would use stricter criteria on what I would purchase.
  7. Looking forward to it. thanks.
  8. Since I work in a buisness of deadlines. I put things in the absolute order they have to be done. I multi task when I have to and take them one at a time when I can. Just try not to bite off more than you can chew and it is okay to say no.
  9. It's only fitting that cemeteries are some of the most peaceful places there are. That being said I don't think I'm going to occupy one. At this point I think I'll be scattered to the four winds.
  10. Not too bad right now about 34 degrees but over the next couple of days the wind is supposed to be picking up and we could be getting snow. At least I don't have to hit the road this week and hopefully the weather gods will be smiling on me next week.
  11. Not a fanatic per se but I do like them.
  12. Clifford that's a tough question to answer maybe they would or maybe Getz and the Three Sounds would have been to "out" for them and they might have felt safer with Pat Boone. I don't think Stan Getz and the Three Sounds were pandering to the lowest common demoninator no doubt they wanted to sell records and they can't be faulted for that but I think they were more concerned about their art then consciously trying to make a safe, homogenized record and IMO that seperates them from the G man.
  13. What Ron said.
  14. Got up to 54 degrees today. Currently 28 degrees.
  15. I had an MRI when I tore up my rotator cuff. No cd's,no radio just the sound of the machine. It's not an experience I remember fondly.
  16. Dude, once you get the RVG The Gigilo, what are you going to do with yourself? I mean, for you it's kind of like winning the Superbowl...what's left after that? Good question... I haven't really though about it... I guess you're right, I've got no reason to go on living Wrong!!! You've got to go on if nor other reason but to listen to "The Gigolo" endlessly also you need to let me know the next time an Audioquest sale is happening in your neighborhood!!!
  17. This is pretty much the way that it works for me. I was doing basketball play by play recently in Alamosa,Colorado and after the games the only place open was you guessed it Mickey D's. The stuff I ordered had been under the lamp for awhile-Bummer!!! Oh well that's life on the basketball road!!!
  18. Root Doctor is great!!!!!
  19. Thanks very much, Steve. MG "You Upset Me Baby", "Woke Up This Morning", "Please Love Me Baby" are also on "Live At The Regal".
  20. Disregard my previous post or as Gilda Radner would say- "Never Mind!!!".
  21. Maybe so but does she like Jazz? Get the box you can always snag the tv show further on down the line. It's probably less likely to go oop or run afoul of the Davis estate or Coltrane estate whichever the case may be.
  22. You're welcome AB .
  23. You've already succeded in saying a lot of interesting things AB so you shouldn't worry about that too much.Just drop in as often as you can. The more the merrier.
  24. Flying over the Pacific at night in an endless holding pattern and flying low enough to realize that the sea was very unhappy that night and then a few years later being in a plane that was barely outrunning a rapidly moving and massive rain and thunderstorm were both very disconcerting experiences.
