  1. Assholes. Keep wasting time and money trying to plug the holes of a sinking ship.
  2. I miss the show with the "gotta make the donuts" guy.
  3. That's on my list as well. Please let us know your opinion. Buy it. It's fantastic. As is the Coltrane.
  4. Well, I think the problem is solved:
  5. That is completely ridiculous. Well I know in certain sects of Christianity even thinking about adultery is considered a sin and is just as bad as actually committing adultery. So therefor watching porn would make sense.
  6. Well, I was wondering why I had not gotten a response from Invision yet (they are usually very quick) and realized that I never actually submitted the support ticket. When you write one up and hit "submit" it comes up with a list of possible fixes for your problem, based on the text of your message, and I got into reading those (none helped) and forgot to hit "submit" again. So, I just submitted the support ticket. Sorry.
  7. In case ya'll missed it in another thread, the new disc, Change Our Ways, by my rhythm & blues band Root Doctor is out and available for order direct from our website (CDBaby will be following soon). Click here to check it out and hear samples. I am very proud of this disc, including the songwriting and arranging. It has only been out about a week and already we've gotten some very nice reviews including this one: If you like blues and rhythm & blues at all, I think you'll dig this record.
  8. Shut yo' mouth!
  9. A workable model for the new organissimo CD? I mean, we may get like 10 downloads! AWESOME!
  10. Interesting article from the Free Press: http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article...LOG01/310020015 It's bad enough that you're surrounded by blaring TVs at every restaurant & bar, but its getting ridiculous. I was at my local supermarket the other day (Meijer) and they have TVs doing the same thing (blaring out commercials for ABC shows) at the checkout now. Ugh.
  11. I blame George Lucas for opening the door.
  12. It's a goodun' and will be available at CDBaby soon. In the meantime: http://www.rootdoctorband.com/music.html
  13. I have sent a message to Invision Tech Support, since more than one person is experiencing this problem. I will let y'all know the score.
  14. Hello! Welcome! We're glad you're not a spambot!
  15. Well, line 603 of the file class_db_mysql_client.php, as referenced to the error above, is: $this->query_id = mysql_query($the_query, $this->connection_id); That doesn't really help me at all. GARussell, is that the exact same error code you're getting with your old account?
  16. I remember seeing a show about Alex. It is pretty remarkable.
  17. And then in 2020, the "Ah fuck it, I'll just re-film the whole thing, with brand new CGI wizardry, mostly to make Harrison Ford look like he's in his late 30s again" super finalized, ultra done cut, with every single frame of footage from all versions fully restored in chronological order of when each scene was shot, including all rejected takes, on five 400 terrabyte medula implant chips, for your immersive viewing experience pleasure.
  18. Wow. It's just music, folks. Criminey.
  19. I'm currently trying to figure out a way to replace a stationary guide on this machine with a rolling guide. The stationary guide is adding unnecessary friction to the transport. Since my last post, I actually picked up ANOTHER Scully 100-16, so now I have a source of parts (which is good, because these machines are rare). I might just steal the rolling guide from that machine and replace the stationary guide with it. I also invested in a console that will allow me to use the deck to the fullest of its abilities. I'm in the process of upgrading the power supply on that console. I'm still hoping to do the next organissimo record here, direct to tape. But man... tape has gotten really really expensive lately. I've attached a pic of one of my machines.
  20. Y'all need to hear Don Patterson's take on These Are Soulful Days if you haven't yet.
  21. Congrats, Paul! How can I get a copy? Are you doing CDBaby?
  22. I finally picked this up. The six unreleased tracks are great, but why didn't they just include all the live stuff on one disc (or two discs)? Also, I'm willing to wager that Donny was a master a building a set; they should release the full concerts, with the songs in order as they were performed. But regardless, the six unreleased tracks make this one well worth it.
  23. Um... what were they advertising again? Sorry, I kinda spaced out there...
  24. Dude, myspace is so 2005.
  25. There are several different models of Disklavier. All digital ones and real acoustic pianos with digitally controlled playback mechanics. Regardless, the hype is pretty dubious.
