Thanks Jim. I just went to BMG and ordered some JB. I found THERE IT IS on a 2cd complilation of late 60's early 70's stuff. I think it was called The Big Payback-Make It Funky. Also ordered Funk Power.

BMG also has something called "Sketches of Miles 3-pack". It's got the remastered Sketches of Spain, Porgy and Bess, and Someday My Prince... for $14.98. I realize that most people here have these already.

NO GURLS ALLOWED! Just kidding of course. I sure would like see more female posters on this board, but I'm wondering what the male/female ratio on jazz bulletin boards is generally. Are we any different than the rest of 'em?

Some very good points there from Maren and The Mule. The artist is responsible for his or her own intentions when creating a work of art, and in the case at hand, I find myself more swayed by the arguments against Leni R. On a much smaller scale, remember that last Woodstock concert, where the riot broke out? Conditions were ripe for it when Limp Bizkit took the stage, and what do they do? Play a tune called "Let's Break Something" (or whatever the title was), basically inciting the riot. I found that to be very irresponsible, mainly because of the potential for injury or rape, not to mention all the damage to the site. Since then I have had no respect for those guys, especially the singer.
