  2. I didn't know collectorz was a subscription now. I bought it long ago and paid a one time fee. the app was a separate fee. It's connected to discog's, that where it pulls most its information. I just manipulate after what information I want.
  3. detailed info is there for sure.you can enter where you purchase, how much, musicians, where recorded etc etc. Might not be available for free but it does all kinds of stuff. I can tell you how many albums I have with Vinny Golia playing on it with a couple clicks in the statistics field. 83 of the 1807 albums I own only behind William Parker who is on 84.
  4. I’ve been using Collectorz successfully for a decade now. Have the mobile app as well. Easiest and most aesthetically pleasing option I’ve found.
  5. I understand that we all want the best sessions possible, but we still watch Tiger shoot 6 over par. I would guess he wouldn't want us to see that. I mean the session is 60 years old. I say kudos for releasing it. I personally appreciate them letting me decide if I want to purchase it rather than wishing on a star to hear it.
  6. this is a more common thing with other genres where the single may have a "remix" and that was the only place to find it.
  7. Missing songs I would have on there. But this to me is like princes discography, everyone has a differing opinion. For instance I think the Let’s Dance album is a masterpiece but I would assume most disagree.

  12. I bought a lot from CDBaby long ago. Their site wasn't my favorite and they changed how you can search about 5-8 years ago and I really stopped using it. I did get this email and thought how surprising it was they still we in the cd game. I did enjoy their whimsical emails telling you they shipped your order.
  13. I’ve got it listed on Discogs for $25. For this board I’ll sell it $15 shipped In The US
  14. James Wayne - Junco Partner You can hear the influence on James Booker in every song.
  15. Started the morning with the wonderful Ron Miles - Witness then received the two following cds in the mail from japan: Kaoru Abe - Solo 1972.4.11 Kaoru Abe - Solo 1972.1.21 After one spin of each I prefer the later but both are very fascinating

  18. recent pick up. such a wonderful line-up. The music is interesting and the pressing is immaculate. Bought off the strength of Sabir Mateen, Salim Washington and Alex Harding. Never heard of David Durrah but quite enjoyed his playing.
  19. They’re a bunch of cds from the series on eBay now... prices for west coast rarities is pretty insane. I’ll be hitting Amoeba soon, this week or next and will look for you again.
  20. Since we moved in Nov I have been building my stereo. Mostly all purchased on a budget and stuff I bought that had "issues" that I corrected and saved money. Just got my CD player yesterday, though may get something else eventually I'm finally enjoying spinning cds again in my newly acquired Marantz CD-84. Noah Preminger Group - Zigsaw Hozan Yamamoto - Silver World James Brandon Lewis - An Unruly Manifesto and lastly Albert Collins - At Onkel Po's Carnegie Hall 1980
  21. Found a copy locally after listening to an mp3 rip for years. Love this album. also one of my all-time favorite covers.
  22. Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes - Wake Up Everybody This album always reminds me of West Virginia because its were I lived when I first heard it and of course the mountains on the cover. My young mind thought they we're the only other minorities in West Virginia and I felt a connection that they were singing to my family. Ahhhh to be young and naive.
  23. all praise be to the God Rammellzee spinning on the table that turns.
