  1. That's for sure...what did the poor woman die of?
  2. Nice piece, Jim! Thanks for the link.
  3. I want this.
  4. If so, that really sucks. This band was a joy.
  5. Yes indeed. Would that many more drummers had that kind of wisdom. I'm also a big fan of this set. I've often thrown on one volume only to end up listening to all five CD's again. Great music.
  6. Well, seeing as how I can't stand football, this doesn't affect me in the least. ....Now if they got rid of the GAME of football, rather than just moving it, that would be real progress.
  7. Looks like they may be getting rid of Detective Green (Jesse Martin)! He got shot on the last episode. I didn't see the crossover with Trial by Jury, but if one of the detectives gets shot on L&O, his character is either dead or headed for a desk job. That's two new dectectives in less than a year---woah. I wish they would get Robert Forster as the replacement, but they won't. They like to pair an older cop with a younger one. Maybe they should get a woman cop, just for a change. Or an Asian cop. It would be about time.
  8. ??????? Really? That's news to me. I didn't think it was a matter of choice.
  9. Me likey the hooks.
  10. And all these years I thought they were different species.
  11. Don't forget Ferndale!
  12. Some things I'll never understand. Why the Beatles should not automatically have ownership of their own song catalog is one of them.
  13. Johnson certainly was a bigger part of Berry's sound than some people realize. RIP
  14. Five of A Kind Weatherbird
  15. My son is reading "The Three Minute Universe," a star trek novel. Sigh, this younger generation...
  16. I like 'em BOTH!! They're best working together.
  17. Did you see the boxing one where Buster and his Dad duke it out? Some issues being worked out there, I'll wager. BTW, did anyone catch Sherlock Jr.? One of my all time favorites.
  18. There's LOTS more! Wodehouse wrote over 90 books. About 30-odd are top-drawer. Check out "Code of the Woosters."
  19. Well, it had to happen. RIP I didn't know he lived in BROOKLINE, MA of all places. Looks like he moved in just as I moved out.
  20. What a coincidence----MY 12-year-old son wants to see it too! We'll probably go with my 10-year-old as well. Can't say I'm looking terribly forward to it, though. Maybe the popcorn will be good. Actually, I haven't heard of ANY summer films coming up that look interesting...but that doesn't surprise me.
  21. This has been my favorite Larry Young album for some time. Nice to see someone else out there likes it too.
  22. Ah, to be a teenager in the 90s!
  23. "Fish oil"--- Hmmm, sounds tasty.
