  7. A nice collection of "mid" to "up" tempo groovers. I'd probably start with one of their other releases (Deep Blue Bruise or Goin' To Town) if your new to the group. Both offer a bit more variety. That said, this is a fine release which I'm sure I'll be enjoying for many months to come.

  9. Careful, your going to want all 3 releases and the DVD version of Goin' To Town, "Live At The Green Mill". Have I said that no one grooves like Chris Foreman?
  10. No one grooves like Chris Foreman. He is "the man" as far as DBOT goes. Preordered mine some time ago. Can't wait to hear this one!
  11. Absolutely agree.
  12. Been reading Letters From The Earth by Mark Twain this week. It certainly deserves a lot more attention than I can give it over my frequently interupted lunch breaks.
  13. "Never Can Say Goodbye" should qualify. Been covered by some jazz heavy weights. The thread prompted me to pull out Larry Ridley's, Sum of The Parts album, which contains a nice version of the tune featuring "Uncle Funky" on guitar.
  14. Very fine job!
  15. Shortly after 12:00 p.m. yesterday.
  16. Maybe you got their only copy, LOL. Nope, I just got my notice as well. Shipping Monday.
  17. Thanks. I appreciate the offer, special ordered it from Jazz Loft. We'll see what happens...
  18. Thanks. I just need to find it now!

  20. I have a couple of Maxtor (One Touch Series) HDs. They came bundled with EMC's Retropect Express software. Quite versatile software. Maxtor HDs
  21. Just noticed this. I've been playing a Ibanez AS83 Semi-Hollow guitar for about 14 months now. I like the neck and the body of the guitar. The pickups are a bit muddy and not totally to my liking. The tuners leave a bit to be desired, I've had tuning issues from time to time. It's an OK guitar. I don't trust the build quality enough to gig without a backup. It's really been more of an experiment for me since I picked it up new for $340. I may change the pickups and tuners at some point. Then again I may just sell or trade it. Not bad, but not great.
  22. Very nice...
  23. This on Delmark, too? MG CDU shows "Origin Records" as the label.
  24. New release on 10/23 called "Folk Music" from these guys.
