  1. My eyes and my ears are my most valuable parts. Without them, my way of living would be permanently affected. There is simply no way I’m trusting them to online retailers.
  2. I saw only part of the match but was surprised at the result, considering the disparity in possession and every other offensive statistic. However, I like to see an underdog win so I thought it was a great result.

  4. Guilty on the same count for Brasil as I lived there!
  5. I watched the match but missed the first 15 minutes. I understand the disparity in the shots on goals but they overall seemed better to me. As far as the lesser calls, maybe but it’s a home crowd and all that. To me, just another typical Argentina loss.
  6. I'm not sure I saw it the way you did. I thought Brasil played very well, better than Argentina, although that crossbar was a tough break for Argentina. What issues did you have with the refereeing. I thought he did a good job keeping the game under control, although I would have red carded the Argentine manager; he seemed out of control. It was a spirited match and made for good watching. I think the gap is closing, though, as the various national federations pour money into the women's game too. 2023 may be a different story. I think the US recognizes that too, which is why they want to win this one.
  7. At their current pace, the Os would only win 45 games, one of the worst marks in history.
  8. It was an interesting match and it got a little chippy. I thought England were unlucky. On the goal that would have made it 2-2, the English player was offside by a millimeter. I thought it was an unfair call but correct by the rule book. Yes, the ref was not great. The fourth ref (from Honduras, I think) is very good. She brooks no nonsense. Perhaps they’re saving her for the final. I can only imagine the comments here if Netherlands makes it to the final.
  9. I haven't found it an easy read so far, but that could be me. I've had to put it down for now as I belong to a book club and I need to make some progress on this:
  10. I think that move was long rumored. Madrid have allegedly threatened Bale that they’re going to bench him all season because he refuses to accept a move as Zidane doesn’t want him on the squad anymore.
  11. Disc VII. Mosaic was selling this disc at the recent Jazz Bash in NJ. Disc 6.
  12. Bullpens are a problem everywhere. The Mets would be having a half decent season but for their pen. In their recent road trip, they blew five straight leads.
  13. I actually think it was the Jets beating the Patriots.
  14. Finished watching this. Excellent.
  15. Brad

    Monk and Bud.

I always thought this was the case.
  16. A very good but also sad and depressing movie.
  17. Too much stuff to listen to and that doesn’t even include the SteepleChase I ordered, which will arrive at some point.
  18. No Thanks! One year we did have a deer die in our pool. What a mess that was.
  19. Three days doesn't seem that terrible. Maybe just a bad day? The one thing that does annoy me on occasion is their delivery policies. Last year we put a gate around our property because my wife got pissed that the deer were chewing up her flowers and plants and gardening is her hobby. USPS won't open the gate if a package needs a signature or won't fit into the mailbox whereas UPS has no issues coming through the gates.
  20. Jazz Messengers indicates that they have restocked some of these.
  21. Very cool. Thanks.
  22. I think we have one or more members going to the Yankees Red Sox games in London. Hope they have a great time!
