  1. Thanks for the heads up, by the way. I must have gotten my order in on time because I received shipping notification today.
  2. They were discussing this on The Morning Show on WFAN in NY this morning. Apparently, these are made of Kevlar.
  3. Earlier today, disc one.
  4. Here’s the email: Dear Friend of Mosaic Thank you for your recent purchase of the James P. Johnson set. However, because of the “Last Chance” email that you received the other day we found ourselves overwhelmed with orders and, unfortunately, have oversold what we had left in stock. Therefore we cannot offer you a set of the James P. Johnson. We have not charged your credit card for your purchase and if you paid with PayPal you will see a refund in your account. If you had other items on your order they will be shipped out to you in the next day or two (except for the Savory Collection which is due at the end of the month and the Bee Hive set which is due in late June). We apologize for this oversight. Michael Cuscuna Scott Wenzel Mosaic Records 203-327-7111 www.mosaicrecords.com
  5. I ordered the Johnson Mosaic set last night. However, I just received an email that I assume they sent out to more than one person that they oversold the set and so I (and presumably others) won’t be receiving one. Such is life. You snooze, you lose.
  6. I think I purchased them all.
  7. It happens from time to time. It’s just typical what’s going on with this team right now.
  8. You have your priorities misplaced!
  9. A stiff for a stiff. Enough said. Well, almost. He’s a catcher who hit 220 and is making around $13M. Since Harvey makes about $6M, the Reds are also sending money.
  10. Disc 4. Overall, I found this set to be better than I anticipated. There were a couple of duds (in my opinion), mostly in the bonus tracks on The Birth of a Band date.
  11. History written in a very unusual way, broken down into each month of the year and further broken by occurrences in cities. Here’s a review for those who may be interested. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2018/04/06/books/review/1947-elisabeth-asbrink-modern-totalitarianism.html
  12. What’s a henway — and please no weight jokes
  13. A legacy brand like Prestige, etc.

    You posted that last year
  15. I finished this today. Well worth the time for a good look at pre-WW II British society and very funny also. ***** This may be of interest. Last week the New Yorker published a previously unpublished short story by Isaac Bashevis Singer. It’s very short. The Boarder
  16. This is my box as well. It says ℗ and © 1989 by Nippon Phonogram Co. Ltd.
  17. As today is rainy, this seemed to be a fitting disc.
