  1. Thanks to you both. I will probably opt for the Hip-O one, which I never purchased.
  2. Thanks Hans. Although I haven't done an exhaustive comparison, it seems that the Mosaic has a bit more albums.
  3. This is the one released on HipO on CD, right?
  4. Season 4 of The Bridge, the Swedish Danish noir detective series. This has been one of my favorite shows and it's a superbly written, acted and directed series. I'm afraid this may be the last season. It's available on Hulu.
  5. I know that feeling. The landscapers were just here this week doing spring cleanup and cutting up all the branches.
  6. When we had the storms here a month ago or so, we lost many a tree limb but fortunately none hit the house.
  7. Disc 2 and 3. All Blues on the Copenhagen concert is beyond fabulous.
  8. An album that I really like a whole lot that he’s on is Continuum Mad About Tad.
  9. Outstandingly well. It’s a great box.
  10. Good luck with the move.
  11. Love the jacket cover.
  12. Are you moving?
  13. Jim beat me to it but whenever they win they raise the “W.” I’m obviously not a Cubs fan but I love their history, the fans’ camaraderie and the ballpark, how it’s right in the community. It’s all somewhat similar to the Red Sox.
  14. The only one I can find on cd.
  15. Thought this might be of interest. Occasionally on Fridays, the Times has a column called The Enthusiast, where a person rights about authors they love, who may not be so well known today, and pinpoints books to start with. The series has been running since July 2017. The Enthusiast

I purchased a Sony Walkman NW A45 and like it quite a bit. It has Bluetooth so I can play it wirelessly in my car and it sounds better in my car than the old iPod (or so it seems to me). I'm now looking into some good headphones. Based on comments I've seen on the Hoffman Forum, I may purchase Beyerdynamic DT 770s.
  17. I can’t explain the purpose although I think they’re silly (I don’t look at them) but they seem harmless.
  18. Do you mean the threads of pictures of the Eiffel Tower, windmills, etc.
  19. Here’s the original list as published in the Daily Beast. Yes, W & P was missing. https://www.thedailybeast.com/10-russian-novels-to-read-before-you-die The writer is a Professor of Russian Literature at the University of Virginia so I think he knows what he’s talking about He’s also written a good guide to W & P: Give War and Peace a chance. I found it very helpful when reading W & P.
  20. If you come in spikes up in this day and age, you’re asking for trouble. If this happened in the 60s or the 70s, it’s no big deal I’ve heard the spin from the NY media this morning. Blah, blah. Tonight could be interesting but I’m sure nothing will happen as I’m sure the umpires will talk to both managers before the game.

    Musicraft

It may be irrelevant for European companies but not so for US companies. For example, if Apple Music wanted to add some of these (unlikely, I know), they'd still need to hunt down the rights holders.
  22. Thanks for sharing that. I live in NJ and would love to see the Studio. I hope she can turn it into a museum.
