  1. This article about the prevalence of strikeouts and HRs should be a cause of concern: Standstill
  2. Ahh, I see. Will have to wait until it's out on video or one of the streaming sites.
  3. Badlands Park, Laguna Niguel, California.
  4. Not cover to cover but a story here and there.
  5. Is this movie streaming. He's one of my favorite writers.
  6. I re-listened to it today and happy to say now I know why I purchased it. Must have been a temporary lapse of some kind
  7. I went today for the first time. Obviously, a lot of vinyl but some CDs. Scott was there from Mosaic. He had some OOP Mosaics but also a lot of partials, many of which came with a book and box, at great prices. Picked up a partial Oscar Peterson. Only missing two discs.
  8. It's this weekend, but now in Edison.
  9. As a bleary eyed witness to the Dodgers' destruction of the Mets this week, the Dodgers have a very good team, packed from top to bottom. I'm not sold on their SP but their pen more than makes up for them.
  10. As a lifelong Mets fan, he was indeed legendary. RIP Pete.
  11. Fred, do you have every set they issued?
  12. Can't say I'm in love with this.
  13. I did see one on eBay, although a tad expensive.
  14. Thanks Bill, I will check it out. Gaudi's bibliography has a couple of books that I may want to check out.
  15. I can't say this is the best written book but the War in German East Africa was something I knew nothing about.
  16. I think he was looking for the music on the LP but not the LP Mike. I did see a couple of Chronological Classics on eBay but have no idea if they contain the music you seek. In case you do want the LP, there are a couple of auctions on eBay.
  17. Right on Greggery. I find it incredible, well, perhaps amazing, that someone would raise a criticism. I find their Gazzette to be a service to jazz fans. If it helps them financially, so much the better. If you don't like it, there's an easy solution: don't read it.
  18. I haven't received an email in awhile.
  19. That's an amazing collection. I thought I had a decent collection but you've got me beaten by a mile.
  20. Milt is great on this one, enjoyed this track. However, for me "the" version is by Sinatra. Can't think of this song without thinking of Frank.
  21. Cool Struttin' is the album that got me into Sonny. The album photo is arresting; that's what good packaging is about. I think Alfred must have known that. More than that the title song is catchy.
  22. Thanks, nice program.
