3/20 LAST CALL HUGE Jazz CD list Loads of cheap titles
Brad replied to Michael's topic in Offering and Looking For...
I just noticed that Mad About Tadd by Continuum is still available. This cd is pure gold. Continuum = Kenny Barron, Jimmy Heath, Slide Hampton, Ron Carter and Art Taylor. What more do you need to know? -
Everybody’s reactions will be different but I wouldn’t overthink it either. At any rate, after a few days you will probably feel better.

What symptoms did you have. My arm hurt but seems to have subsided now.

Insincerity is the best gift. -
So far so good. It picks up extra dirt, lint and dust so it’s like an extra cleaning as you play the record.
-
Added the record sweeper. Even if you wet clean your records right before playing, this device picks up a lot of dust.

I once purchased a review copy on eBay, the HRS sessions. Maybe it was yours.

They could do a little better such as using YouTube better and having an Instagram site (although Mosaic Images does). However, aside from these steps and sending more emails I’m not sure how much they can do. They’re a small organization and probably don’t have the budget for more marketing.

COMPLETE KEYNOTE COLLECTION - 21 lp set.
Brad replied to Dmitry's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
At $75 how can you not? I remember when the LP set was super expensive. I think the Fresh Sounds set had something to do with that. -
I don’t know who to blame, German mail or US mail, probably the former but I ordered several records from a German company called In and Out Records and the tracking hasn’t moved since December 22. On the other hand, I just received a book from Amazon UK that I ordered in November so I will give it until the end of March.

COMPLETE KEYNOTE COLLECTION - 21 lp set.
Brad replied to Dmitry's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
This is an old thread but the price of this set has dropped, possibly due to the Fresh Sounds set. Some sellers have it on Discogs for under $100. -

South Africa is trying to get of theirs as well, although I don’t know if they’re trying to sell it. -
Thanks for the input but what’s an Esquivel record. I listened to a couple of minutes on YouTube where I probably should have gone to begin with. It sounded fine to me and in line with other club dates I’ve heard. Not pristine but not everything is. I will look for it.

How does this sound? I’m tempted to purchase it but I can only find it outside of the US and when I looked up on All Music the US version that was published in the late 70s, the reviewer said the sound was so terrible as to make it unlistenable.

The way Serena had been playing so far, I thought this might be the one but it could be age is just catching up. Her first serve percentage has been going since her first match. R1 v Siegemund 59% (80% points won) R2 v Stojanovic 57% (86%) R3 v Potapova 63% (77%) R4 v Sabalenka 58% (72%) QF v Halep 55% (77%) SF v Osaka 46% (65%) Courtesy of Christopher Clary of The NY Times.
