I couldn’t tell you that because I’m not a doctor but I found a few articles indicating they’re the same. Here’s one article, which includes confirmation by one physician. https://www.krem.com/article/news/verify/verify-yes-the-first-and-second-dose-of-the-covid-vaccines-are-the-same/293-6d70a1e2-1869-4b33-9b21-2b9a7030dfd1

Do you know why?

Also, from what I can see and you shouldn’t take my word for this there is no difference between the first and second dose. In addition, the CDC indicated that in an emergency you can get a second dose different than the first one. In other words, if your initial dose was Pfizer, your second dose could be Moderna and vice versa. The applicable time limit would be the one for your first dose.

COVID-19 III: No Politics For Thee

We’ve been using KN95s for a long time. -
We’re getting our second dose next week. The CDC has indicated that you don’t need to get it exactly 21 days (Pfizer) or 28 days (Moderna) after your first one. Up to 42 days after the first one is acceptable.

Sam does not produce CDs. They made an exception with Monk but that’s the only time as far as I know. Their stuff tends to sell out rather quickly so don’t delay.

I can’t see spending that kind of money either. -
Just saw this on Analog Planet. Pro-Ject Announces 5 New Analog Products Thinking about the record sweeper.

We signed up with the state and one of the mega sites. With the state, you have to find an appointment and with the mega site, they tell you when they have an opening. The problem is you won’t get in if you don’t have an appointment and even if we do, it’s a different county.

I just looked at his FB account and he hasn’t posted since 2019. Hope he’s ok.

NJ has a very screwed up system, in my opinion. You have the NJ Vaccine Scheduling System, which is run by the state. Then you have what are called mega centers, six of them, each run by someone else and each having their own website. Then, in some counties you have certain doctors providing shots and then you have Shoprite providing vaccinations but not in all locations. It would have made more sense had they turned this over to the local pharmacies be cause they’re used to giving vaccinations. Instead, it’s become a bureaucracy.
-
We haven’t yet and now the county where we received the shot (not the one we live in, which is totally disorganized when it comes to shots) is restricting vaccinations to county residents. It’s beginning to look like we may have to travel to South NJ near Philadelphia (we live in NW NJ near NY), an almost 2 hour drive, to get the second shot.

Electric Recording Co.: Artisanal Vinyl; Insane Prices

Here’s the expedience of Mike, a record dealer from Phoenix, Arizona, The In Groove, with these records. Both videos are pretty interesting and both relate to jazz records. This one was just posted today. -
We need to bring him out of retirement! Let’s start an online petition!

I tend to purchase only what’s described an NM or M. On Discogs I also look closely at their feedback. If there are any recent neutrals or negatives, I will try to avoid using them.
-
How do you remember them as somebody you’ve used and may want to buy from them again? By adding them as a friend on Discogs?
-
I’ve had pretty good luck through Discogs. Only once (so far) have I had a record that wasn’t as described. That is very strange. I can’t see how that makes any economic sense.

You can sign up for weekly emails from Dusty Groove; they come out every Tuesday.

Correct. It’s not terribly expensive when you order several cds. I asked a Japanese eBay seller about using DHL as I was contemplating buying a few cds from him and he told me it was too expensive, around $80. For the time being I’ve excluded Japanese sellers from my searches.
-
That’s what CD Japan does and the big companies probably have a corporate rate because of volume. Unfortunately, the small sellers don’t and to ship something by DHL can be prohibitively expensive.
-
Except for ordering from CD Japan, I’ve given up on buying anything from Japan because of postal restrictions. For that matter, anything from Europe as well. Back in November I ordered a book from Amazon UK. It just arrived last week. In late December I ordered several records from a German audiophile company called In and Out Records. Who knows when they will arrive here. The tracking hasn’t changed since it was shipped. Patience, extreme patience, has to be the watchword.
