  1. One of my wife’s roses. It’s all a big act.
  2. If I should pass away, I don’t really care what happens to my collection. However, before that day takes place, I’d recommend that they sell it to a big record store like Princeton Record Exchange just to save them the aggravation of selling a piece here or a piece there. They won’t receive full value but it will be worth it to be rid of the collection in one fell swoop.
  3. This is a fantastic article, made possible through the use of digital technology, about Albrecht Durer’s Self Portrait, painted in 1500 at the age of 28. The portrait hangs in Munich’s Alte Pinakothek. Seeing Our Own Reflection in the Birth of the Self-Portrait
  4. It’s probably my own fault. When I do some yard work outside, it’s usually in shorts. Those days are over. I’m having a follow up with the Lyme dr. on Tuesday. Trying to keep that stress level low. What will be will be.
  5. Thanks to you both. It’s getting better.
  6. Triple attack. Turned out I was having a low hemoglobin count, they discovered an ulcer in my stomach and I have a mild case of Lyme disease.
  7. The above companies, as well as other big pharma companies, have rigorous standards. As I said, I don’t think they will release anything that they don’t consider safe and efficacious.
  8. I still have confidence in the FDA but I also believe companies like J & J and Pfizer are not going to release a product that is not safe and effective.
  9. In celebration of leaving the hospital,
  10. I’ve been cleared to leave the hospital. I can’t tell you what a relief it is and how I realize that our health can be fragile.
  11. Not sure if this was posted before.
  12. As a technical, legal matter, I was simply pointing out what is the correct approving federal agency and not making any other conclusions.
  13. It’s not the CDC that weighs in on a vaccine but the FDA.
  14. Unfortunately, I have some other issues (not enough red blood cells) that has landed me in the hospital for a few days.
  15. Mets 2020 chances going up in flames.
  16. Not scientific but just things I’ve noticed or feelings developed.
  17. Yes, I looked at Discogs and eBay and they’re all super expensive.
  18. And the resale prices on the Music Matters one is crazy stupid, $200 and up.
  19. I’ve seen this at estate sales. Unfortunately, it was badly beaten up.
  20. The nature of the beast.
  21. For those of you who use the ACA (Obamacare), the risk has significantly increased that it won’t be around come mid 2021.
  22. Just got my test results back and they were negative fortunately (massive understatement). Of course, I still feel like crap: annoying cough, higher temperatures than normal and general exhaustion.
  23. Yes, I have. I’ve been interested in modern German history since high school and have read many books over the years. The ones by Richard Evans are particularly good.
  24. A tracking number just tells you general location and that it may have arrived or departed a certain destination. For example, back in March, tracking on a package from NY showed that it had arrived and then departed Jersey City and was on its way to the final destination. However, it took another two weeks to arrive notwithstanding that I only live 40 or so miles from Jersey City.
