  1. Hello all, just wondering which Milt Hinton photo book I should have. I've found 3 on various sites (none cheap by the way). Over Time, Bass Line adn new one Playing the Changes. Any help would be appreciated.
  2. Maybe it's a drummers kind of thing....I also like the cd very much.
  3. so now you all know......
  4. Not only that....how can you show the number inside the booklet if it's sealed? Hoeray for my 800th posting!!!!!
  5. go figure......I don't either I just shout the review out of my window and hope nobody hears them!!!!
  6. Rock: what do you mean by this: "Well, thanks for reminding me of Tomatobluenote"???
  7. What should be done differently then? THe 69 show is in the pipeline (I guess we'll see it this year at some stage).
  8. Most are Verve MAster Editions so I would prefer going that route......The remastering of the set is late 80's/early 90's so improvement is certainly there on the VME issues.
  9. Not Fresh Sound but RCA Spain. Although produced by Jori Pujol (of Fresh Sound "Fame") they are issued and marketed etc. by BMG Spain.
  10. Didn't know Monk played on Kind of Blue
  11. You mean just like a Dutch one did in the late 60's for Supertramp!!!!
  12. Weizen: Don't you worrie. I've pre ordered it already from Mr.Tanno!!! I have the "old" K2 VICJ jewel case version so the combination of a (probable) sonic upgrade and a mini LP version was to good to let it pass. I'll let you know how they compare sound wise.
  13. No that can't be it...that's so simple and logical!!!
  14. It has a issue date of Januari 2008 on Amazon.com. There's one copy used on Amazon.fr but I doubt this is real since Amazon.fr and Amazon.Uk have it as preorder only.
  15. Haven't heard either one of them so I don't know.

Maybe someone who know anyone inside Wounded Bird can suggest this to them?

I thought it was Warner but Blue Note also leased some master (Stan Getz and Bill Evans come to mind).
  18. I see this title alternately referred to as either 'Piano' or 'Whisper Not' -- any particular reason for this? Yes: to make you buy it over and over without knowing you own it already

Very nice US only issue.... Couldn't find any trace of a cd issue either so I would go for the iTunes versions if I were you.
  20. Lon (or someone else): is the remastering place and engineer stated?
  21. Well that's an offer I hardly can resist (but will do because of a promise I've made)
  22.
