Like Sidewinder I've always liked Calypso Frelimo. However, the Panthalasa remixes are very interesting - gives the music a new perspective.

Nice to have the reunion cd but it doesn't compare to the ESP, Fontana or America albums imo.

Appetite whetted. Unfortunately UK buyers are still waiting.

I use a purpose made record mailer but use two corrugated card stiffeners ( I usually cut these from old packaging from white goods, tvs, computers etc). This type of packaging is more or less inflexible and seems to stand up to the rigours of postal handling. Depending on the record these packages usually weigh between 450 and 550 grams). Everything seems to get through okay.

Some small early promise but now just crappy.

Shame the jazz side of Naxos folded. There were issued a few nice things (as well several that were quite ordinary) in their short life. I'm thinking particularly of the New York Jazz Collective.

I'll buy it, extra material or not. And 'Jazz Waltz' for that matter.

Yeah! but the cover of that rerelease never appealed to me. At least the new reissue uses the original cover You're right the original cover is much more appealing, but I'm going to stick with Unsung Hero. Incidentally, very fine music whatever the cover art.

All the music on Charlie Rouse's Yeah! appeared on Unsung Hero in the CBS Jazz Masterpieces series
