Actually this is at least its third appearance on cd; it was issued in a regular jewel case edition I think in the early 90's or something.

Yeah, I probably should have grabbed that $9.99 used copy of Alan Shorter's 'Orgasm' that I saw last week to flip. Too bad I had just paid $29.99 for my eBay copy two months earlier! Eh, it's just money. Yup. I grabbed a copy of Orgasm on line last year for under $20. I've seen sellers asking a $100 for it once in awhile. Great album but not that great! Concerning the Defranco/Peterson, I can get that one now for $8, but after hearing samples, I was turned off by the strings. If its still there the same store also has the George Russell for $8 too. If any one is interested, pm me and I'll check to see if its still there. PS: the Russell is excellent!

The Counce compilation is one I haven't come across before. Looks to have some great stuff on it! The Fox is a masterpiece, of course. All you need now is Harold in the Land of Jazz! Yeah, I would add The Red Mitchell-Harold Land Quintet "Hear Ye" on Atlantic.

What do you mean? Just speaking in the mode of Harvey Kurtzman. Oh. Who that? Sorry. American cartoonist, (comics) artist and editor. Founding editor of the original MAD. Was associated with EC comics in the early 50's and edited Frontline Combat and Two-Fisted Tales, for my money their best titles and commonly acknowledged to be among the best war comics of all time. Also started several (sadly short-lived) later satirical comics magazines such as Trump, Humbug, and Help!. Cool. Thanks. Learn something new everyday!

The RVG of Blue's Boss Horn is getting pricey too. Who would've thought that the US RVG series would be demanding collector's prices!
