Hi!
i´m also expecting his Mosaic Select anxiously!!
my favorite album so far from Pearson is Wahoo and i love a particular song of this album, Bedouin. i also enjoyed a lot the Introducing one and Bedouin is there too.
i have a lot of respect for him too when he replaced Ike after his death.

Hi!
Russell Malone did 2 concerts here in Rio 3 months ago and i was crushed by EJ Strickland. he is a terrific drummer and i´ve managed to exchange some words with him after the show and he told me he was on 2 Vincent Herring albums. i told him i was truly excited with his playing and he was very nice with me.
let´s keep our eyes really opened with this guy!

Hi!
Jacknife concept for me is really really fine. Comin´On is also great, even íf i´m kinda repetitive saying that i love this album
my overall impression on Roques covers/work is that they fit on BN concept and BN legacy is well represented.

Hi!
my vote is for Horace. he clearly represents the Blue Note groove!
matching him with Blakey we have the purest Blue Note sound B)

Hi Lon,
Ed just released a new album. he has been recently in Japan doing a tour with Incognito. he plays on one track on their latest album (Cada Dia)
i´ve met him 2 times and he is a close friend to other 2 friends of mine. he is a compulsive vynil buyer!!
he started his career deeply involved with funk & r&b but now he´s trying to be acessible on pop & instrumental charts.
do you know Joao Donato, a brazilian piano player?? i think you´re gonna love him too

another quick note:
he switched his artistic name to Benjor to avoid misunderstandings on musical rights with George Benson. sometimes he was paid for Benson´s tunes and vice-versa!
