Track 17 of disc 2, volume 2 has a brief weird, loud burst of static in the 1st few seconds. Anybody else experience this? Thanks.

DVD Audio ripper seems like a nice program that does the job. However, the trial version will only rip half a file. I'm going to play around with it a bit more before I plunk down my $29.

Peter Brotzmann & Peeter UUskyla "Born Broke". A fine reeds - drums duo performance. UUskyla is a more structured drummer than that whom Brotzmann commonly plays with. Recommended.

Just received the Ray Charles Complete Atlantic Recordings. Wasn't on my list, but at yourmusic prices, I couldn't pass it up.

I particularly like Alligator. Not many versions out there, but I think I have them all. Dick's Picks, Vols. 4 & 22, Fillmore East: April 1971 and Fillmore West 1969's Bonus Disc according to Allmusic. While I love Pig, I wish he had a larger repertoire. I hate to think how many versions of lovelight I own.

All the Miles boxes are gone from yourmusic. Has this happened before? Will they come back? Hoping for On the Corner!

Some unknown electrical gremlin destroyed my office stereo receiver & computer. Circuit breaker melted and my cheapo surge protector was of no help. What do you use to protect your electronics. What should I be looking for? Thanks.
