  1. thanks! much better for me. my guess is they wanted it to pop out in the racks in the psychedelic late '60s... much prefer the UK design, though. Lovely record.
  2. As a fan of pachyderms I hope there's another cover and title for this record!
  3. RIP! What a life.
  4. yeah, I have the duo with Coe in its Incus version, which I guess is abridged. Heavy stuff indeed.
  5. Cyro was one I'd not had before and it's a stunner. Company 1981 I'm a little lukewarm on but the additional Epiphanies material is pretty super.
  6. oh of course, there's room for everybody! The opening track on Bandcamp from this Kaiser version rips. Will pick it up.
  7. our own Karl Evangelista's group Grex already did an electric A Love Supreme -- it's good!
  8. great article.

  10. he's married to a woman I knew in high school (a bit younger than me), Misty Swain.
  11. Yeah, had that on deck recently as well, same pressing. Very nice album indeed. Altissimo, the follow-up of sorts, is quite good as well.
  12. Yeah, came here to say this as well.
  13. I have yet to see that show but it looks great.
  14. It's true, he does.

  17. Totally new to me as well. RIP.
  18. Yeah those Hinos on Canyon are great. I like this Victor album too, the Berlin Jazz Festival one is also nice.
  19. Can't wait to hear the fourth. 1-3 are fantastic.
  20. weird. I thought Rutgers hosted it.
  21. yeah, I've read that roundtable. Ugh.
  22. Chocomotive is a good one.
  23. Interesting figure indeed; would be interested in getting his Folkways solo LP someday. 103 is quite a run.
  24. Original album was released on Polydor in the UK, which is the version I have and it is indeed a stellar recording.
