I met him once. Chatted with him about touring with Vic Lewis ! Nice guy. Perkins and Enevoldsen were around at that event too, also in the 90s. Cy Touff was conducting a recreation of his ‘Keester Parade’ band but no longer playing by then.

Fortunately, the manufacturer of mine still has plenty of spare mechanisms. Hopefully stays the case for a decade or two.

That version looks like the 1966 World Record Club. Looks like Philips would be the German issue. Unusual for a Bob Thiele Impulse album.

Interesting - a place I was in this weekend had that ‘Statements’ on Philips. Not sure if it was a UK issue. They also had the 2LP ‘The Young Rabbits’.

I don’t think I ever saw a copy of that one that wasn’t a cutout !
