  1. Jackie McLean 'Lights Out' (New Jazz, mono)
  2. Wish they'd kept it in print. Finding a reasonably priced copy is now mission impossible. This location recording by the Ratledge/Wyatt/Hopper/Dean lineup, done in Norway, is pretty interesting. Released by Reel as a 2CD with bonus CD-ROM including essays.
  3. The Brothers Brothers Grimm Bros
  4. Lovely set! MG I've got the Gerald Wilson tracks 1-80ish on alphabetical order play in the car at the moment and have been enjoying every bit of it. Some of the transitions at the end of the live tracks sound a bit bizarre though in this play-order..
  5. I recommend this one -

  16. Yes, I've still got the vinyl of it somewhere in the racks. There were several of those 'Pablo - Live' Coltranes, very nice issues. In fact the whole 'Pablo - Live' series was great (Adderley/Johnson Yokohama Concert, Milt Jackson at the ... thingy, Hodges, Joe Pass at Long Beach etc.)
  17. Booked in for Wayne's 80th Concert at the London Jazz Festival (Barbican) on 17th Nov. Should be great !
