  1. Don't know - but it is already going for way, way more than my copy, which has a far better condition sleeve and at least as good vinyl.
  2. And my best wishes too, Dan. You can do it !!
  3. Have a great one, Paul !
  4. Jeez - how did I miss it? A Very Happy Birthday, my fellow vinyl-fetishistic friend ! Make sure you get out the grappa, cigars and Blue Note vinyls (mono only) tonight !
  5. For some reason I thought mine had DG side 1 but just checked it and it hasn't - so ignore the DG bit ! :rsmile: wow, that's a relief Sorry about that Michel, my stereo pressing, NY 'ear', has a deep groove on side 1. Interesting !! i have never seen a "No Room" DG Stereo !! (and no mono neither) Neither have I - special Italian export ? Last night - Hank 'No Room For Squares' (BN NY USA MONO, no DG )

  7. No problem. Welcome on board !
  8. I'll have to give 'Greek Variations' another spin. I have the original LP and from my recollection they did a good job on the CD. One of the plusses of the CD is that you don't get the slight surface noise, which many of the early 70s Lansdowne LPs seem to have. All part of EMI's production I guess ! With the Taylor, I would definitely say that the best way to hear it is on LP, as with many piano trio records. It's a shame no-one has reissued that one and 'Pendulum' on 180g.
  9. Hi Durium - You're in ! Please PM with postal or download preference and if postal let me know your address. Thanks !

  17. Hmm - interesting. I think they're both great but to me 'Trio' has the edge - more reflective and, I have to say, the mental instability issues already noticeable. It really is a unique treasure. No doubting the impact/freshness of 'Pendulum' with Dave Tomlin added though.
  18. Here's wishing Mr Hopper all the best and a speedy recovery. It's a shame the 100 Club isn't closer !

  20. OK folks - I'm full of the seasonal lurgi and on anti-biotics but Big Al has suggested I start things rolling with an invite to the next BFT. :rsmile: At the moment it's one disk but there's a possibility of a 'bonus' disk if the opportunity allows. The default will be to mail the disks out within the next couple of weeks but I'm also looking at possibly adding a download option. Please confirm your mailing address details in any case by PM and preference (mail or download) and if I get the download option working OK then we can go that route as well. I can guarantee that there will be one or two 'burns' off of obscure vinyl to get people guessing until Xmas 2009 comes around ! (hopefully). Let 'em roll !
  21. Make sure you pick up the 'Pendulum' too !
