I had a ticked booked for the Bristol Colston Hall concert on that tour. What wasn't expected was the mother of all snowstorms and half of the West Country being cut off and emergency food airlifts. Never did make the concert !

Damn - my 'theme' has been blown. The Boney James was a pig to transfer though.. Actually - I did a load of transfers but when I played them back they sounded like sh*t compared with the CD offerings on the BFT. Turned out my soundcard had been set to 9.4 kbps so now I have to redo the lot.

? MG Meaning that Bob thinks that, being ESP vinyl, it still sounds like shit...

Well, I for one would have gone for a ball-busting 15LP set of Ahmad Jamal but good anyway to see that Mosaic has not totally given up on the vinyl !
