  1. Release date is December 3rd.
  2. Yes. I was thinking about him.
  3. “Some bad mother fuckers.”
  4. The TV show Melrose Place, there's some scenes in a jazz club. Cedar Walton is playing piano. I've never watched this show. Anyone know if this is true? There is a CD called Melrose Place Jazz. IT does have Cedar in the credits as well as several other jazz musucuans. https://www.allmusic.com/album/melrose-place-jazz-upstairs-at-mp-mw0000032702
  5. The only copy for sale on Amazon is 54 dollars for a used one. Crazy. I'll look for it from Japan.
  6. Anyone here have this session by Cedar Walton? I can only fine it for sale in Japan. I am wondering if it was ever issued outside of Japan.
  7. So sorry for your loss of a family member. It’s tough doing that. I’ve had to make that hard decision before, but the suffering was over. It was the first time my dog was happy to go to the vet. ☹️
  8. A Terrible loss. RIP
  9. Bill Charlap Trio at the Village Vanguard.
  10. RIP.
  11. This is so good. I am listening to this right now. What a tone Houston has.
  12. All the best, Allen.
  13. I never played the saxophone, but I would think this would not be an easy task playing without a strap. Is this common? Prez seems to be resting his arm on the chair.
  14. Big Boy Bob’s Burgers Linder Belcher
  15. René Marie Marie Curie Alfred Nobel
  16. Sad news. RIP, George.
  17. Although he still was playing at the Blue Note pre-COVID, could it be he slowing down? At 96, why not slow down?
  18. This is very exciting. I’m definitely going to order this one.
  19. Sad. 61 is way young. Cancer is a horrible disease.
  20. I meant OOP.
  21. I like that feature. Also, some OOO sessions are on the streaming service. For example, Charles Kynard's "Your Mama Don't Dance" is there in vinyl. You can hear the pops of the record.
  22. 95 is a food long life. Thanks to him the jazz festivals were born. RIP Mr. Wein.
  23. Joe Pesci - The Folk Who Live On The Hill
  24. Some of Phil’s 78’s at WKCR. This is just small sample.
  25. From the Washington Post. “My words are not that powerful. I started saying in 1985 I don’t think we should have a music talking about niggers and bitches and hoes. It had no impact. I’ve said it. I’ve repeated it. I still repeat it. To me that’s more damaging than a statue of Robert E. Lee.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/wp/2018/05/22/jazz-musician-wynton-marsalis-says-rap-and-hip-hop-are-more-damaging-than-a-statue-of-robert-e-lee/?fbclid=IwAR0Ntw7tB1CkTLY2Uv-gnkl6uDVBSshD8CJ2_3HtGwRElMMf-a7zpv3Ye5I
