The Complete Capitol Recordings of Woody Herman - disc 1-2 I'm enjoying this more than I thought I would.

According to the article, the tapes for this concert were found in a box in a trash dump. There were hundreds of reels of tape. Stanford University's Archive of Recorded Sound now has digital version of the tapes.
