  1. I'll pass on all of these, well, except maybe the Hawk RVG - and concentrate instead on previous Fantasy releases that may be deleted anytime in the future. There's so much Phil Woods, Zoot Sims, Milt Jackson, Basie, Hampton Hawes etc stuff that I haven't checked out...
  2. Max Roach Mosaic, disc 5 ~ Roach vs Rich ~ Septet with Stanley and Tommy Turrentine
  3. Craving more of this Afro Cuban stuff... Anyone has this set, is it worth getting or should I pick one or two of the single discs? If not the box set then which disc? Thanks! Available at descarga.com
  4. Zweitausendeins seems to have the Wilkerson and George Braith Conns for sale @13.99 Euros each.

    Jazz Oracle

I've bought mostly from CDConnection.com which carries many of the titles. An incentive to order directly from Jazz Oracle is the disc BDW8047 "A Gift From The President" that comes free with each item purchased. This disc contains rare material/alternate takes. It seems worldsrecords.com offers the free disc too.

  17. The four African qualifiers, Togo, Angola, Ivory Coast and Ghana are in the World Cup for the first time, taking the places of some of the more fancied teams such as Cameroon and Nigeria!
  18. This one is in the player as well!!! Disc 1 then 2 Rollins, Dorham and Roach are/were a killer combo!
