I was a HUGE Iron Butterfly fan in their heyday (my HS years). Heavy, IAGDV, and Ball seemed so cool at the time. Needless to say, they haven't aged all that well, but for me I'll always remember those years.

Graham Parker & the Rumour. Really good show. Did a nice job of mixing stuff from their new album with classic "oldies". Nice to see these guys back together again!

Don't know much about these Akai pedals, but they seem to be clearing them out (or something). At $40, they're about 75% cheaper than normal retail. The message boards talk about how they're really rebranded GFS and/or Biyang technology. But if they work , what's the difference? I just picked up the Analog Delay last week from MF on a 'Stupid Deal' for $29. Sounds pretty good to me.

One more anachronism if I remember correctly. There's one scene where you see a stack of records in his apartment and the one on top is Miles' "Tutu".

I only have vol 1 of the "Indian" set. Sounds great to me. I keep thinking I need to get the rest of it, too.

Sharon Jones brought the house down at the Davies Symphony Hall in SF last night. I don't know how she keeps up that intensity for 2 full hours - very impressive!

I need to get the Mosaic one of these days, too.
