Mixed feelings about this. Some key indie rock labels have left, but the monstrous new jazz stuff is overwhelming. Not crazy about the new pricing structure, but I can get used to it. A disturbing change seems to be that you can't re-download an album for free anymore. Although maybe they just didn't apply previous download credit in the new pricing arrangement. We'll see. OTOH, I rarely re-DL anything, anyway.

It seems that the LP market is still hot.

I think it's priced a little high - it recently sold on ebay for $167. The OOP Mosaic market isn't what it once was (except for Maynard and Thad/Mel, for some reason). You used to be able to count on at least double the original price on these - no longer the case.

Thad/Mel is "only" $200. Usually goes for much more than that on ebay - most recently for $303. Tempting.

Cool. I've also heard reports of the Backstage Pass show we did turning up on PBS stations across the country. So, cool! The Backstage Pass show is on right now here in the SF Bay Area (KCSM-TV).

Kinda cool, but I really don't like the mass commercialization of Jimi (but I understand).

I pulled the trigger on Tuesday for tonight's game. Best "way too many $$" I ever spent. Totally wild out there. Totally unusual game. Totally fun. Everyone should do whatever it takes to go to at least one World Series game in their life. :tup

I think people are finally starting to understand how good the Giants are. They've been under-rated continually all year, but they always seem to find someone to come up big when the game is on the line. They've also consistently hit the best pitchers in the game: Halladay, Ozwalt, Jimenez, Johnson, Lee, etc. It's going to be a very interesting series and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Giants finish this off in 5 (but I could be wrong )

Finally getting around to listening to the Curtis Amy Select. Really good ...
