I had that problem with the checkbox question that would only let you answer one, too. Bad quality control. Also, a bad series of questions that seemingly ask the same thing over and over with only slightly different wording. I do surveys for a living - I would never have let that go out without better QC. Free........you won't get lunch with Bruce - that's only for residents of NYC. That's why they ask for your Zip. Sorry. You might get the CD set, though.

It's a good one, Buzz - I've had it since November (well, the limited edition version anyway). Guests include Gavin Harrison, Theo Travis, Jordan Rudess, and Tony Levin. Good to know! I was listening to Warszawa today - good live album! Better than Coma Divine, I think.

Don't remember where I read it (if here on O, sorry to repeat), but Bruford announced recently that he's retiring from live performing.

Well.........it's "next year" already - March 18-22. Looking forward to another crazy few days.

Interesting album by Chico Freeman just added - Morning Prayer. Review by Scott Yanow, All Music Guide Tenor saxophonist Chico Freeman's second recording as a leader (the first was an obscurity for Dharma in 1975) was originally cut for the Japanese Trio label before being made available domestically by India Navigation. An impressive effort, the adventurous music (five compositions by Freeman) features the leader on tenor, soprano, flute and pan-pipe, Henry Threadgill (switching between alto, baritone and flute), pianist Muhal Richard Abrams, bassist Cecil McBee (in the first of his many collaborations with Freeman), flutist Douglas Ewart, and the percussion of Steve McCall and Ben Montgomery. The performances are unpredictable yet logical inside/outside music. This set has not yet reappeared on CD.
