Lee Morgan Mosaic Disk #4 Night in Tunisia, and Lover Man so far. Lee Morgan is really one of the most creative trumpet players, it's really cool to hear him come into his own through the 4 disks. Really diggin' the late 50s bop/hard bop these days...

Mosaic Artie Shaw Disk 6, finally starting to really appreciate this music! Bought this set probably a year ago, and after repeated listens it's becoming enjoyable. I think Shaw had a totally different musical outlook that his peers.

Granz missed a fantastic opportunity to have Red Allen and Roy play together. Given a few minutes I could come up with a good band and great program.

the complete blue note hank mobley fifties sessions. very fine material, indeed. i would prefer to have every album with its cover but, when i bought it, i found it to be very convenient to have all the elusive fifties albums under one roof and with excellent sound without having to wait for them. plus the excellent mosaic booklet.
