Blues and Gospel Train 1964 -- Muddy Waters, Rosetta Tharpe, Sonny & Brownie, etc. Train tour of the UK by Blues & Gospel artists, very interesting.

If you like this (and I think it's great) I highly recommend the 3 DVDs released documenting The American Folk Blues Festival 1962-1966 which seems to be from similar concerts from a different tour. There also seems to be a Italian release that I suspect is a bootleg which seems to have taken stuff from all 3 DVDs and the British broadcast.

Monk & Joe Turner!! Where did this come from? (I saw Turner play once at a press party during the Cannes Film Festival. Everyone pretty well ignored him. I'd never head of him at the time but I remember thinking that he was the real thing.

Along those lines, is it widely known there's a video of GUO from 1970 on there? I just saw it for the first time last night. Pretty amazing to see a 26yo Evan Parker, among all the others.
