Sound quality is plenty good enough, though I think it may be needle drops (but if so, from high quality vinyl). That company (M.I.G.) has put out some really nice releases over the past couple of years, including a "Gary Bartz NTU Troop LIve at Bremen 1975" 2CD set which is the best Bartz I've ever heard.
