Haven't pulled the Mobley set from the shelf in quite a while - grooving along on Saturday while the neighbours are out!

The mailman just brought the Joe Pass box sent by Jazz Messengers - who use so much Scotch tape you hardly know where to start pulling or cutting. The set's number is # 4607 - and I don't regret pulling the trigger. Early Pass always catches my ear.

Still listening through the Pass set - I'm not that much of a guitar fan, but enjoying this one from a to z, which says a lot. I had been hesitating and re-considering for so long, but now I'm glad I got it.

Jazz Crusaders box set, Disc IV - Stretchin' Out (with Joe Pass, who does not play that much on the three tracks he's on).

Arrived finally this week (it had to cross the pond after all). Next weekend it will be the Eddie Condon set I ordered with this set.

Joe Pass. Which I inexplicably never picked up until now.

My 'timewarp' set from seller bluenotesounds. Set number 33 - CD1.

The LP set sound is perhaps a wee bit crisper but I'm not complaining !

Disc 4 with the For Django LP - a great guitar album, but Pisano's 2nd guitar is too low in the mix.
