That Kenton Presents series is nice... somehow, I don't like what Affinity did with the covers, so I am trying to find the originals... which takes a bit longer... but when I find one - like last week in Utrecht the Cooper album - I am always happy

Thats good. I“m also a pianist but never ever do I compose from the keys. I believe that composing is completly diferent from playing. It“s like you say, you hear sounds, some tunes I dream and if I“m lucky I memorize them when I get up. I even think that there is always music in my head, when I get to catch a taste of sleep (I“m a quite sleepless person). Also....women may inspire me, I see a beautiful woman and have a melody goin“in my head. That“s how I rote the title tune on the album last year for my then wife, now ex-wife. And last nite I got a fine idea of a song for my actual love. And dig that: It“s in eb-minor ! Nice tune with a 16 beat feeling in it (kind of slow funk or call it anythin“). It will be on our next album, but not as the title tune, which I already have fixed. the only downer is, I“m not a good notes writer. Most time I get some music student, give him 200, make him happy and got a kid who writes the shit down for me.

Always good to check. They might as well be unplayed because they are all broken š

https://www.prestomusic.com/jazz/promotions/blue-note-downloads/browse I took advantage of it to get Duke Pearson - The Right Touch. Some of the Capitol Vault Series (mosaic and mosaic select as downloads) are also included in the price drop. Might pick up a few selects I don't have. Some of these are a pretty good deal, for example if you don't have the Elvin Jones Mosaic (which is dynamite) you can get a legit copy for $25. Here are the Capitol Vault series: https://www.prestomusic.com/jazz/search?search_query=capitol vaults

Last bump for some great speakers at a great price! And price reduced on package deal (see below). This is a fantastic deal for speakers of this quality. I just have too many speakers and need to make room. PSB Stratus tower speakers $150 cash only Local pick-up only in the Amsterdam, NY (near Albany) The PSB Stratus model was the precursor to the PSB Bronze, Silver, and Gold models. These are excellent sounding speakers. They are in excellent working condition and Very Good cosmetic condition. The piano black finish definitely shows any superficial scratches or swirls but overall this is a very nice pair. I bought these approx. 8 years ago and have only used them sparingly in a secondary system since that time. I am only asking $150 for these, which is exactly half what I paid for them myself 8 years ago (and that was a great bargain at that time). I would like to give someone a great deal as I have too many speakers and these are just sitting around. Someone will be getting a great pair of speakers at a bargain price. This is my way to give back to the audiophile community, which has helped me a lot on my audio journey over the years. Pics available upon request. If pics desired, please pm an email address so I can e-mail photos. Package deal: Take these PSB Stratus speakers and the Parasound HCA 1500A power amp I am offering for sale on another thread and take both for $535.
