Any mention of Scott Hamilton brings back vivid memories of him and Buck Clayton stumbling drunk at Rick's Cafe American, in the late '70s, in Chicago. Sigh.
I have known her for years and heard her in a number of situations, I'm a fan and her technique is just fine. Last year she played in Grand Rapids and Randy Marsh (randissimo) said "I bet she could play the shit out of bebop"!

Many folks seem to have missed our vinyl release of Air Time. This is one of the finest sounding recordings I have made and the reissue is very fine. I recently played it for Paal Nilssen-Love and he picked up a copy to study Steve McCall.
