  1. Thanks but no. I really want to know which masters are (or aren't) in the JSP set.
  2. That's the second cover - it replaced a pic with Rudd and Tchicai. I was wondering which cover was earlier. I bought my copy around 1976. It happened pretty quick.
  3. Lumpy Gravy Wavy Gravy Steve Garvey
  4. Rude Jude Hey Jude Gabby Hayes
  5. For once and for all I am trying to sort out all of the '20s Ellington recordings and this set is really confusing. Help please.
  6. Only a bit. I always thought he created the singing style attributed to Sinatra. I think this material is about as important as any jazz recordings out there. Thanks for the response.
  7. That's the second cover - it replaced a pic with Rudd and Tchicai.
  8. I think the thought processes of geek types can sometimes work against the solution. A few years ago I had a major problem with my Gateway (remember those?) and I was afraid to try anything myself. A corporate IT guy lived across the street and he came over - after about 3 hours he gave up and took his leave. I sat down at the keyboard, thought the stuff through and within about 15 minutes cleared up the problem.
  9. Boy am I happy I didn't post earlier.
  10. So are they draining 38% of the beer from Minnesotans? Spread and accept boys.
  11. Great shot - of Laurie.
  12. Not their problem - this is the info Sony supplied. Sony will send info as soon as stuff is finalized and Amazon will report it so they don't get "scooped". Happens all the time.
  13. No, Origin.
  14. Had a bunch of experience with Bu's hearing problem. "You want all these folks to know this motherfucker is deaf?!!!"
  15. For me they all have interesting components but none of them is "great" in my book.
  16. They were the Octets, hence the title of the box.
  17. around 5-10 minutes I think. I didn't really pay attention.
