  1. Does anyone know if the '48 material is complete with commentary or is it just the music?
  2. Thank you, you..........Philadelphians.
  3. No live music 'til Friday. Then we get Organissimo in our back yard. Sorry we can't do better.
  4. Dan is correct. At this point I've transferred all the tapes (including multi-tracks) to digital. Just that part ate up a grand. Next is mixing/editing/mastering. It will probably take $5000 to get the first thousand pressings on my basement.
  5. Hope you get that Ayler box you've been wanting. Happy Birthday.
  6. Sort of stopped mid prep. Running out of funds and serious consideration delayed by having to deal with my father's failing health, etc. I may have more energy tomorrow and give you a better answer.
  7. Is this code?
  8. Is Chewy aware of this opportunity?
  9. Happy Birthday (and retirement). All the best to you, my political advisor.
  10. Of all the Amazon sellers, they have been the slowest for me on a regular basis. Almost always a week or more behind other dealers. One time I ordered 2 classical sets on BMG. They hit my card for both and the delivery date kept moving and moving. After 60 days I cancelled and it took a while to get my funds back. I now use damn near anyone else if the price is anywhere near.
  11. Exactly, but... No. You don't create a CD-R out of nothing -- it was also bought by someone along the line. Guy BUT there are now two copies and the originators were paid for only one.
  12. Undoubtedly more failures to come. Chuck, how would you feel if I came upon a used copy of a Nessa CD? Would you mind if I bought it? Doesn't doing so deprive you of some money? Buy it. You obviously have not read the entire thread.
  13. I'm fairly certain that Trane's relatives aren't seeing a dime... -_- On the other hand, this stuff isn't of high enough quality to likely ever see a legit release. Well, there goes that Uptown Johnny Hodges issue. Would you at least burn me a copy? No, but if you come by my house I'll play an hour + of this stuff.
  14. Not sure I want to go there but have a good time.

  16. Geez, he's looking for a burn.
  17. There was a time (in the late '60s) when I was concerned with keeping Mr. Stooge out of my house. To think he's a "master" of any sort is curious.
  18. Here's a stout drinker:
