RVGs? RVGs will replace a minority of the stuff being offered. Pay close attention to the labels and the engineers. I woud add if you can get a K2 of a new or potential RVG, it's (at best) even money on the sonic winner.

Most important to me is speed. Is the tape/record/cd "up to speed" to get the correct signal? Everything after that is "gravy" and it depends on what you want to spend on gravy.

Interplay is/was(?) owned by Tosh Taenaka. I understand the "possession" of the tapes is a jumbled mess as the result of an ugly divorce. I have also heard Toshiya is in poor health.
