Not quite. Martians Stay Home was a U.K. LP (Atlantic K 50714) with tracks that were not included on the American LPs The Swinging Mr Rogers (Atlantic LP 1212), Martians Come Back! (Atlantic LP 1232) and Way Up There (Atlantic LP 1270). Those tracks were not released in the United States until Mosaic issued them on their Shorty Rogers set. There was no Shorty Rogers LP entitled Martians Go Home; I think you meant Martians Come Back! (Atlantic LP 1232). There was another LP that was only released in the U.K., Clickin' with Clax (Atlantic K 50481), with tracks that were recorded in March 1956; these tracks were not released in the United States either until Mosaic issued them on their Shorty Rogers set. The tracks that were only issued on the U.K.-only LP Martians Stay Home were, a) from the The Swinging Mr Rogers sessions: Loaded Bill Twelfth Street Rag The Lady in Red b) from the Martians Come Back sessions: Barbaro Martians Stay Home Peals Easy Amber Leaves The tracks on the U.K.-only LP Clickin' with Clax were: Toyland I Dig Ed Adam in New York Clickin' with Clax Put the Goodies On Our Song Pete's Meat Mike's Peak

It was recorded on December 15 and 21, 1960 and January 12, 1961 with a quartet: Johnson, Victor Feldman on piano, vibraphone and celeste (on 1 track), Sam Jones on bass and Louis Hayes on drums. The LP has 9 tracks. The date was included in the OOP J.J. Johnson Mosaic set, with 3 extra tracks (1 with Feldman on organ). The LP was released in mono (Columbia CL 1737) and stereo (Columbia CS 8537).

It's a 2008 European reissue: Amazon U.K.. I wouldn't be surprised if it uses the same masterings as the now deleted big American box.

On my 1990 Blue Note CD reissue (84446-2) it's spelt "Rigormortis" (one word, while it's actually two words) and M. Levy, H. Glover and J. Dell are listed as composers.
