  2. Portrait of Shiela is a personal favorite.
  3. Watch the clip I posted above. I don't know much about Bill Frisell, but that clip knocks me out.
  4. Good grief. How much are the CDs? I guess they really don't want us to hear these sessions.
  5. Agreed on the last paragraph. We know who had the advantage in that situation. Can't say I like it. Wouldn't have mattered then, and it sure as hell doesn't matter now! Lets just hope RRK played the fucking chart right thereafter! Ding!
  6. MUCH more interested in the Ghostface thing from the same hype. There are some videos to go along with the Delfonics thing and it all feels like satire and bullshit to me. Adrian Younge has convinced himself that he actually believes the way forward is forty years into the past. He actually hypes this shit as the future of hip-hop.
  7. No way dude. A blind man had never been in a fight. He would not know how to handle himself. Can't say I like that.
  8. I really like this one: http://www.fretboardjournal.com/video/twelve-days-fretboard-bill-frisell
  9. If you're happy with AAC and Apple Lossless, why not just be happy with AAC and Apple Lossless?
  10. I have NOW. It's good but not something I can listen to very often. I like it though!
  11. Great news! I still listen to your EP! Release date is my bday...
  12. http://metalalacarta.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/noelredding.jpg "I don't think he meant it, but I can't help but wonder... is that what everyone thinks of me? I should call Mom."
  13. Best of luck with the move.
  14. What's with the harsh tones? Seems there is some underlying something or another at play here. I have never read Lon's comments as snobbish, especially when it comes to audio. I have no idea why I feel compelled to get involved. I'm now going to listen to a terribly engineered, mixed and mastered CD from a very uncomfortable chair.
  15. Where have you read of their source?
  16. I am still impressed that Jim set this whole thing up so quickly and figured out all of the ins and outs of hosting an online community! Great work and thanks!
  17. How bout that? Ten years. So much has changed in ten years. It is always a trip to read my old posts. A twenty five year old kid trying to be so serious!
  18. Mojo Man!
  19. Which two? Great price Deepak.
  20. http://www.dustygroove.com/prip/1/8/603981i.htm Western Suite
  21. Fans of Abrams Natural Information will want to pick up Represencing. Here's a c/p of the musicians and instrumentation. Abrams guimbri, organ, ms20, harps, bells, harmonium, mpc Lisa Alvarado gong & harmonium (B1,4,5) Mikel Avery drums (B1&2) David Boykin tenor saxophone (A1&3) Emmett Kelly electric & acoustic guitars (B1&4) Nicole Mitchell flutes (B3) Jeff Parker electric guitar (B5) Tomeka Reid cello (B2) Jason Stein bass clarinet (B3) Chad Taylor gong & drums (A1&2) Michael Zerang tambourine (B5)
  22. I can't look at that MOJO HAND cover without thinking of clem.
  23. Gary Burton Passengers has two basses. Walt Dickerson 1976 also has two basses on at least one track, though all discographies claim Jamaldeen Tacuma and Wilbur Ware weren't playing on the same tracks.
