Cowboys just pulled out an exciting win vs. Panthers, 24-20. Peppers got called for running into the kicked vs. Billy Cundiff (who SUCKS). Had Cundiff made the kick, it would have only tied the game, but it gave the 'Boys a 1st down and they went on to score the winning TD. Steve Smith got ejected for bumping a ref (it wasn't a big bump, but the refs obviously felt otherwise - maybe he said something bad). Might have been the difference in the game. Cowboys are 9-6 now. Dunno even if they win vs. Rams next weekend if they can make the playoffs, but outside of that laffer vs. Redskins last weekend they've played tough all year.

I believe if this had shipped USPS it would have already arrived here in Corpus Christi, too. This package shipped on Monday....nothing at all happened on Tuesday or Thursday. It appears to have sat somewhere both days. As well as yesterday and today for the most part. I'm going to be out of town next week too, so when it DOES arrive I hope they leave it and don't return to sender.

I wonder if mine is on the truck with yours. My tracking says it left Austin over 15 hours ago, but there is no update since then. Maybe the box decided to head down to Laredo for a quick margarita or three on the way....

I don't understand why this should disqualify this recording from being on a "best of year" list at all. The majority of the listening public are probably hearing this for the first time.

Some are with metal spine and some are not? The Silent Way box does not have a metal spine, nor does the Cellar Door box, apparently. But they look similar to the other boxes in the series. The Blackhawk and Plugged Nickel boxes are not of the same design as the other Columbia boxes.

Thanks Brownie! If these sets don't have the advertising that Miles' estate was apparently insisting upon, it makes me wonder if some sort of payoff wasn't involved. Especially because of the "suddenness" of these things arriving in the marketplace now.

Out of curiousity, did you happen to notice whether these sets had the "added on" stickers that Wilburn was insisting on? I'm curious to see if that played out the way it was being described previously.

I received my package (Sco photo, naturally ) from Mark today, and I wanted to share how beautiful the print is, as well as the matting and signatures (both artists, Sco & Mark). A tip of the hat to Mark for doing such a good thing with the charities that he is involving.
