  1. Happy Birthday, Porcy!
  2. One shooter killed, two other suspects in custody. 11 victims. 30 injured. I know a number of people that work at Ft. Hood, and they're still under lockdown at the moment.
  3. One is in custody, at least another is cornered, and a third may be on the loose, according to reports I've heard. The number of injured is supposedly up to 20 now.
  4. Mustang Sally gave up the ghost!
  5. Are you there for the festival? A few interesting groups I'd see if I were there - Lionel Loueke, Vijay Iyer, the Overtone Quartet (does this lineup have a recording out?), Hank Jones/Joe Lovano, Arild Andersen, Paolo Fresu, and Sco.
  6. Here's one. I think there are actually a couple of others, if I knew what to search on. You beat me to it Sorry, Hans lol. I can handle the easy searches every once in a while, but I'll have to leave the more challenging ones to you! I'm not smart enough to take those on!
  7. Here's one. I think there are actually a couple of others, if I knew what to search on.
  8. Plus, if we told you, we'd either have to kill you or bore you to death with repeated listenings of side two! Your choice!!! Gaaaaaah!!!!
  9. Wow, two of the 6 worldwide, right here on this very board!! Do you guys have a secret handshake?
  10. I know as a fan that if your team loses the WS, it's painful. But the fact that they've climbed back in it legitimizes them to me - I'd love to see it go to a Game 7, which is entirely possible. I think the Phils have a win in 'em tomorrow night!
  11. I think that would get annoying pretty quickly. Nice to know that Lala can do that, but it's not something I'm interested in checking out.
  12. To make it seem more legitimate, most likely. To appear as it it was coming from Matthew, instead of some random prince in Nigeria.
  13. Last night reminded me of the Brad Lidge that pitched for the Astros in 2005 against Pujols in the NLCS and the White Sox in the World Series. Get in his head a little and he gets rattled.
  14. That will only matter if the game ends up as a one-run victory by the Phillies.
  15. I never changed my clocks, so I knew you were going to ask that an hour ago.
  16. I think it's too early to say that. Going into the playoffs as a Division champ versus a Wild Card is a big difference. You get a bye the first weekend of the playoff for one. Their record is very good, and if they continue to play well the rest of the regular season, they may sew up the Division anyway, so it *may* not matter. But if they limp into the playoffs as the lowest seeded wild card, they could be out very quickly.
  17. I always preferred Sigerson to Sherlock.
  18. Thanks Dave, that's tempting. I wasn't going to get the stereo box since I've already got the mono, but that price is very attractive. I don't have a Borders anywhere near me though, but if I ordered it on their website it comes to $170 shipped (though it's backordered 4-8 wks). Still not a bad deal!
  19. Phil's not a bad drummer (or wasn't, anyway, since he apparently is no longer one). But he became a progressively bland songwriter, IMO. I think that's his crime as far as Genesis goes. Though Banks & Rutherford are guilty of that, too.
  20. Wow - if you're a Yankee that was clearly an A-Rod HR, if you're a Phillie that was clearly NOT an A-Rod HR.
  21. Took this with my cell phone last weekend in a local bookstore:
  22. Happy Birthday, Greg!
  23. Happy late Birthday!!
  24. It's Free's birthday again??? Woot!
