  1. Happy Birthday!
  2. Thanks for that info, Norm. I had previously kind of assumed that the Recording Sessions book was essentially an extract of the Chronicles book, just specifically dealing with the days they were in the studio. But it sounds like it's not quite that, but more detail about those dates/sessions. I like the Chronicles book for what it is though, and it suits me fine.
  3. I thought that would be an incentive for someone to hurry up and buy it, so you didn't have to pay any fees to a website to sell it. But you are very generous to sell it for such a price, as many sellers are on this bulletin board. I don't think Sandy's comment was directed at your post, but rather the one that appears to have been deleted.
  4. I think TJazz's comment should be deleted, personally. Not cool in someone's FS thread, potentially discouraging buyers.
  5. I like that frame job. I've got something similar that I proudly display as well - a Mark Sheldon photograph of John Scofield, signed by both Mark & Sco.
  6. Cleveland won today, with Anderson completing only TWO passes. I bet that doesn't happen often!
  7. Those weren't designed by any one recent. Those are their throwback unis, as all teams are wearing for certain games. They are the original Broncos uniforms from 1960. They weren't popular then either, according to wikipedia.
  8. I have the Complete Beatles Chronicles, by Lewisohn. Is this one substantially different than that?
  9. Broncos get my vote for the ugliest throwback uniforms. Blech!!
  10. Cowboys are playing like crap today against the Chiefs. Fumbles, poor passes, you name it. Romo hasn't thrown a TD pass in almost 3 games at this point. This is a testament to poor coaching. The Cowboys should be much better than 2-2 going into this one, and should be dominating the 0-4 Chiefs, kinda like the Giants are doing with the Raiders. I think win-or-lose, I'd fire Wade Phillips after the game....and Jason Garrett. I don't know that Jerry Jones has the cojones to do that, but this is miserable.
  11. If we don't hear from Skid by tomorrow, will someone go thaw him out and get him home?
  12. Looks like I picked a bad decade to be an Aggie fan. Sigh. Oh, and Colorado up 7-3 on Texas right now, though it's very early. I'd love to TX get upset!
  13. Ctrl X does go to the clipboard for me. It deletes what you highlighted, but Ctrl V brings it back.
  14. Fly (Turner, Grenadier, Ballard) - Sky & Country R.E.M. - Reckoning (deluxe ed)
  15. Might help you justify moving into the big corner office with the extra windows, too!
  16. If you simply commit to typing in 10 pages a day, you'd be done in 35 days, a little over a month. 5 pages a day = 70 days. 5 pages a day wouldn't be all that much typing, really. 30 minutes max per day, if that much? Unless you're a two-finger typist.
  17. Some cool pics from the listening session held this past Tuesday for some of the new 5.1 KC editions here. Starless/Red-era lineup (Wetton, Cross, Fripp, Bruford): Michael Giles, Pete Sinfield, Bill Bruford, David Cross, Robert Fripp, John Wetton, and Mel Collins: Steven Wilson & Fripp:
  18. For those looking, the mono box appears to be in stock at buy.com right now, for $213 and free shipping. Link
  19. Aha! I knew it was a sublist of a(n) = p(n)- primorial(k), where p(n) is n-th prime number, k is greatest number for which primorial(k)<=p(n). I just knew it! ...was afraid to say it here in case you all would ridicule me though.
  20. Happy Birthday!! Thank you for all of your contributions here, as well as the wonderful images you've shared with us!
  21. I'm still working out 7:11:13:17:23:29:31. I don't have time for photos
  22. I dunno, I can see both sides of that argument. Being on a perenially crappy team affects your W-L record, no matter how good a QB you may actually be. Unless greatness isn't really a measure of talent/skill, but at least in part is a measure of being in the right place at the right time.
  23. Belgium: Weizen's fridge: Conn's stash:
  24. Don't forget his great performance as leader of the Film Actor's Guild in Team America.
