    I'm going to resist this as long as I can. The unreleased material should have been released as a separate issue at a reasonable price. I'd pay $15 for this but not $30.

    I like Hillerman too. He's 80 now. Has a new one scheduled for mid-2006. I just started Elizabeth Kostova: The Historian Lots of press. Hope it lives up to the attention.

    Louis Sclavis Quintet: L'affrontement des pretendants (ECM 1705) is one that I like.

    This wouldn't be a bad place to start. It's excellent (IMO). He's been a major player in the Herbie Nichols Project & on other things as well.

    I like Blu Blu Blu. Also his set on the 4 CD Interpretations Of Monk is wonderful (Cherry, Lacy, Rudd, Rouse, Richard Davis, Ben Riley). His playing as a "sideman" On Braxton's Live Basel set (Hatology) is also a peak.
