  1. That dude needs to be punched in the face. Hard. From a physical standpoint he's a rather large package. Maybe we can see what Lennox Lewis is up to.
  2. Hey more RVG's for everyone.
  3. You mean like this? Organissimo on Ebay! I was going to pull the trigger on this over the holidays. I was bummed when I visited the cdbaby website. Any chance you'll get any more printed up?
  4. Happy Birthday Tony. B)
  5. Jazzmoose,Jazzmoose happy belated birthday you rascal!!! Hope you had a couple of tamales and beers to mark the occasion.
  6. I'm pulling for the Eagles if for no other reason than to stick it to Limbaugh and in the AFC the Broncos but I know that's a longshot.
  7. "It's A Wonderful Life" man was Donna Reed a fox!!!! There's lots of great Christmas cd's out there-among my favorites Roomful Of Blues and Ella Fitzgerald.
  8. Christmas usually in the early afternoon.
  9. Ron Carter also plays electric bass on a Gato Barbieri cd "The Third World Revisited" which was initially released as "Yesterdays".
  10. I'd laugh but working in radio you get "acquainted" with the RIAA and part of me can't help but feel that if they could handle things this way they would. To know them is not to love them.
  11. Hope the California contingent of the board got through this ok. It's one more reason I'm glad to be on Colorado.
  12. GA and Mike I hope both of you find some peace and get some rest. I'm staying in Pagosa country, hanging with friends and eating lots.Tamales here I come!!!!
  13. Happy Holidays Johnny and the best to you.
  14. Merry Christmas to one and all. Thanks Organissimo.
  15. I remember a few years back watching Eberhard Weber playing an electric stand up bass. It wasn't wide bodied like your typical stand up bass but I loved the music that came out of it. Really I think that it's up to the individual and what works best for him or her. Other than that it's what JSngry said.
  16. I don't think I'm going to far out on a limb to determine that you don't like American talk show hosts as a rule. Fine with me that's your privilege and I respect that but the fact of the matter was that post I made about G and Larry was intended as a JOKE. Obviously judging by your reaction it was a lousy joke but that was the intention of the post. It was not my intention to trigger a debate about American talk show hosts because just like game show hosts for the most part I have no use for them. Again my apologies for the misunderstanding.
  17. Definitely a much better idea than getting your head torn off by Ben Davidson though I doubt that Suzy was too amused.
  18. If Miles did that hopefully he asked himself "What the fuck was I thinking hiring that fairy fucker pentatonic parrot food horn blower!!".
  19. Who is your favorite talk show host Patricia? That part of my post was really not meant to be taken seriously because no TV talk show host in his right mind would ask such a question. I assume from your reaction that you might prefer a talk show host whose guests know they will have to be combative when they appear on that's person's show. I apologize for creating a misunderstanding about where I actually was coming from.
  20. That makes me feel a little better.
  21. Did I miss something here? Does Weizen have the same philosiphy towards jazz organ as say Hardbop Heaney? Say it ain't so!!!
  22. Second that. There's a time to be profound and serious and there's a time to party. This Stitt/Patterson date is the best of all possible worlds -great musicians having fun and creating a MAJOR party atmosphere!!!
  23. Luis Gasca "Born to Love You" and Leon Thomas "Gold Sunrise on Magic Mountain".
  24. Oh Yeah!!!
